In the 30th match minute, Bač was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevan Dišljenković to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bač's zone, Igor Veljović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihailo Lačarak came out of the goal and Igor Veljović tried to chip the ball over his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Veljović in the 37th minute of play forced Bač's goalkeeper Mihailo Lačarak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bač's Mojsilo Bjelić got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Srbobran Cilinšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vlade Perić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihailo Lačarak having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mojsilo Bjelić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Smederevo's Ranko Rašić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janča Sinđelić in the 82nd minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
