After 30 minutes, Pavle Basta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prokuplje and the Ravni Topolovac players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Pavle Basta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ðuro Mekić struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ostoja Ivanović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ravni Topolovac. After some careless play in the Prokuplje defense, Dalibor Peković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ostoja Ivanović. The Prokuplje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ostoja Ivanović should have stopped the shot. After 46 played minutes, Ravni Topolovac's Makarije Ćurković shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ostoja Ivanović came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ravni Topolovac reached it. If Dalibor Peković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Aleksandar Sekulić made the kick off in the second half. Ravni Topolovac's Jelenko Rujnajić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandar Sekulić in the 55th minute of play. If Dalibor Peković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nedeljko Stojićic in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jelenko Rujnajić saved Ravni Topolovac from getting behind. 69 minutes into the game, Nedeljko Stojićic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jelenko Rujnajić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nedeljko Stojićic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jelenko Rujnajić having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Prokuplje's zone, Dalibor Peković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ostoja Ivanović came out of the goal and Dalibor Peković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 played minutes Prokuplje got a freekick which was hit by Grigorije Vukanac. The supporters of Ravni Topolovac booed when Prokuplje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velibor Čaušević didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalibor Peković's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ostoja Ivanović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
