Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tihomir Stanojević in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Janko Grnčarski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Gavra Delić got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Janko Grnčarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tihomir Stanojević in the 36th minute of play. Janko Grnčarski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jagoš Tujković went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 40 played minutes Barajevo got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Džunov. Jagoš Tujković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Janko Grnčarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Barajevo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jagoš Tujković made a kick off. A collision led to Gornja Toponica OFK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Predrag Preljević hit a great ball. If Jagoš Tujković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Gavra Delić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milovan Beljanski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 75 minutes into the match, Gornja Toponica OFK's goalkeeper Janko Grnčarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tihomir Stanojević. After 84 minutes, Stefan Džunov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barajevo and the Gornja Toponica OFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Mirko Gostić sped through Barajevo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Milovan Beljanski. Stefan Džunov was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Barajevo's Stefan Džunov got a free kick in the 94th minute. Gavra Delić charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavra Delić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Gornja Toponica OFK got a freekick which was hit by Gavra Delić.
