Viktor Gavarić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ranisav Jovićević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance for a goal. Todor Bokovac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mileta Vujić having to interfere. Bogomir Stojićkov's late challenge caught a Salaš's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogomir Stojićkov helped the player get up and apologised. When Enis Đošić fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salaš's protests and gave Enis Đošić a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Salaš getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Enis Đošić hit a great ball. Padej FK were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Salaš's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Obren Pejčinović took the corner. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dragan Andrić to strike the kick off in the second half. Mileta Vujić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragan Andrić in the 54th minute of play. Viktor Gavarić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Predrag Radić went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Ranisav Jovićević came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Salaš fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ranisav Jovićević couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Salaš's zone, Todor Bokovac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mileta Vujić came out of the goal and Todor Bokovac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Todor Bokovac was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Padej FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
