Tihomir Rušić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Predrag Radulović in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Dragoje Gostimirović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tihomir Rušić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Jovica Vojvodić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tihomir Rušić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoje Gostimirović in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Ivan Majstorac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vranje OFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruski Krstur the free kick. Kirilo Čolanić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Momčilo Petronijević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ljuban Pečaranin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kirilo Čolanić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, Ruski Krstur's Momčilo Petronijević made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kirilo Čolanić was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Predrag Radulović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Predrag Radulović to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Ljuban Pečaranin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Jovica Vojvodić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruski Krstur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jovica Vojvodić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ljuban Pečaranin in the 73rd minute of play forced Vranje OFK's goalkeeper Kirilo Čolanić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ruski Krstur's Tihomir Rušić got control of the ball when Dragoje Gostimirović tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Momčilo Petronijević in the 79th minute of play forced Vranje OFK's goalkeeper Kirilo Čolanić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoje Gostimirović let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 81st minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. Thanks to some nice moves Dragoje Gostimirović could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Tihomir Rušić however easily saved by the left post. Pavle Tatalović hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dragoje Gostimirović got free with Tihomir Rušić in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Ruski Krstur fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vranje OFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
