Spectators: 6811 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1811, VIP seats: 0) Radislav Odavić made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 minutes, Dušan Kajević mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zrenjanin and the Mala Plana OFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dušan Kajević hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Vuko Đurić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zrenjanin's supporters rose to their feet, but Vuko Đurić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trajko Joković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Filip Jovančov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Jovančov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Živojin Puđa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Zrenjanin's Vuko Đurić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trajko Joković narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivan Miloslavljević charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Miloslavljević the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Zrenjanin got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Miloslavljević. With a little luck, Zrenjanin's Živojin Puđa got control of the ball when Filip Jovančov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Vuko Đurić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trajko Joković was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Filip Jovančov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Živojin Puđa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luka Rajević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mala Plana OFK's Radoš Bradonjić got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Mala Plana OFK's Radovan Tomanić broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 43rd match minute, Zrenjanin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cvetin Vidović to maneuver through the defense. Živojin Puđa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Jovančov in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute Ivan Miloslavljević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trajko Joković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Zrenjanin's Mladen Baša got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jakov Lukovac charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakov Lukovac the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Zrenjanin got a freekick which was hit by Jakov Lukovac. The supporters of Mala Plana OFK booed when Zrenjanin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mladen Baša didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mala Plana OFK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Luka Rajević hit a great ball. In the 60th of the match, Vuko Đurić tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Trajko Joković got in the way and made a wonderful save. Ivan Miloslavljević's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Trajko Joković skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Vuko Đurić managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 78th minute, Filip Jovančov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Živojin Puđa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Ivan Miloslavljević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trajko Joković made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ivan Miloslavljević sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th match minute, Mala Plana OFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoš Bradonjić to maneuver through the defense. Vuko Đurić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trajko Joković having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Kajević in the 94th minute of play forced Mala Plana OFK's goalkeeper Trajko Joković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zrenjanin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
