After 14 minutes, Petar Lazović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vlaška FK and the Kovin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Petar Lazović kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Rastislav Milijanović came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Vlaška FK's Petar Poledica. But to his dismay, Petar Poledica quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Petar Poledicas short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Rastislav Milijanović to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Kovin's Stanimir Jablanićević got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Boris Božilović was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Vlaška FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bojan Šurbatović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vekoslav Markus in the 35th minute of play. Vekoslav Markus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bojan Šurbatović having to interfere. Stanimir Jablanićević charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanimir Jablanićević the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stanimir Jablanićević hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boris Božilović was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Boris Božilović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petar Poledica in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rastislav Milijanović saved Kovin from getting behind. Petar Poledica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rastislav Milijanović having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Vladislav Preljević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bojan Šurbatović was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Kovin's Vekoslav Markus got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Kovin booed when Vlaška FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miodrag Preljević didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Vladislav Preljević was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kovin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlaška FK the free kick. In the 68th minute, Vladislav Preljević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bojan Šurbatović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vekoslav Markus in the 75th minute. If Vladislav Preljević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petar Poledica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rastislav Milijanović having to interfere. In the 86th minute Boris Božilović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rastislav Milijanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vlaška FK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Petar Lazović hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Vlaška FK's goalkeeper Bojan Šurbatović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marko Nedeljkov.
