The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Draško Radić in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tihomir Stojković saved Vranjska Banja from getting behind. Relja Čojić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Srđa Mlađenović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danijel Simović in the 44th minute of the match. Srđa Mlađenović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danijel Simović in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Draško Radić made a kick off. In the 51st minute Relja Čojić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tihomir Stojković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Miroslav Radojković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Srđa Mlađenović was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 90 played minutes Gornji Stupanj got a freekick which was hit by Velimir Ognjenović. The Vranjska Banja players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
