The Sloga Kraljevo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davor Mrđenović should have stopped the shot. Davor Mrđenović was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Steva Breković got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Srđan Kanjak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davor Mrđenović was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Davor Mrđenović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Srđan Kanjak's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Sloga Kraljevo's goal looked a bit too open when Srđan Kanjak came free, but Davor Mrđenović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steva Breković was the one to do the kick off. Slaviša Šćekić's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Davor Mrđenović firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fk Sloboda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sloga Kraljevo the free kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Slaviša Šćekić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fk Sloboda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slaviša Šćekić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Steva Breković who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fk Sloboda's Boban Arsić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Davor Mrđenović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Srđan Kanjak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes, Momir Poledica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sloga Kraljevo and the Fk Sloboda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fk Sloboda booed when Sloga Kraljevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Momir Poledica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fk Sloboda had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
