Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Metodije Malinić took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 minutes, Metodije Malinić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Naftasi and the FK Hajduk KB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FK Naftasi's Metodije Malinić got a free kick in the 5th minute. Dražen Jovandić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veljko Bogićević, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Tugomir Gurić came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the FK Hajduk KB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tugomir Gurić couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes of play, FK Hajduk KB's Danilo Ocokoljić made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikola Stokić was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Veljko Bogićević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FK Hajduk KB's Dražen Jovandić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veljko Bogićević in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, FK Hajduk KB's Radiša Petović got a free kick in the 21st minute. Božo Kašćelan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Miloje Budić sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dražen Jovandić skillfully saved the ball. Miloje Budić's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Dražen Jovandić - 1-1 was put on the score board in the 24th minute. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Veljko Bogićević sped through FK Hajduk KB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dražen Jovandić. 31 minutes into the game, one of FK Naftasi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Tugomir Gurić took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Nikola Stokić to make any attempt to save it. In the 39th minute of the match Miloje Budić sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dražen Jovandić skillfully saved the ball. FK Naftasi's Nikola Stokić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FK Naftasi from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FK Naftasi's Boro Rikanović got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tugomir Gurić was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FK Hajduk KB's zone, Veljko Bogićević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dražen Jovandić came out of the goal and Veljko Bogićević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Metodije Malinić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tugomir Gurić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikola Stokić was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 85thth minute of the game Metodije Malinić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Hajduk KB's Dražen Jovandić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, FK Naftasi's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Ocokoljić came free, but Nikola Stokić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tugomir Gurić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nikola Stokić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dražen Jovandić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metodije Malinić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
