In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind DORCOL UNITED's goalkeeper Radislav Jovićević, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. DORCOL UNITED's Radislav Jovićević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milivoje Stevanović in the 15th minute of play. Dragan Smiljanić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Vlada Jovićević made a huge save. If Dragan Smiljanić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vlada Jovićević made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Dragan Smiljanić sent off a good shot on target. Milijan Poznić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radislav Jovićević having to make a save. Milivoje Stevanović struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Radislav Jovićević didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonta OFK. When Ðuza Karličić fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Nebojša Đurovski took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlada Jovićević. Radislav Jovićević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milivoje Stevanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milivoje Stevanović in the 67th minute of play forced DORCOL UNITED's goalkeeper Radislav Jovićević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlada Jovićević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nebojša Đurovski in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, DORCOL UNITED's Radislav Jovićević got control of the ball when Milijan Poznić tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, DORCOL UNITED's goalkeeper Radislav Jovićević had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milijan Poznić. Sonta OFK's Milivoje Stevanović got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 played minutes DORCOL UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Ðuza Karličić. In the 78th minute, Milijan Poznić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radislav Jovićević was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 81 minutes into the game, Milivoje Stevanović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radislav Jovićević. Milivoje Stevanović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Nebojša Đurovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vlada Jovićević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DORCOL UNITED's Dragan Smiljanić got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Dragan Smiljanić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlada Jovićević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, DORCOL UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nebojša Đurovski to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Sonta OFK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DORCOL UNITED.
