In the 3rd minute, Nikša Marjanović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Bački Topola FK booed when Zbogom gospodo 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vukašin Lepar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Radomir Vemić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bački Topola FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomir Vemić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ljuban Tomčić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radomir Vemić struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ljuban Tomčić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Nikša Marjanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ljuban Tomčić having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radomir Vemić was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Bački Topola FK's goal looked a bit too open when Radoš Ilijevski came free, but Naum Radisavčević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Nikša Marjanović sped through Zbogom gospodo 2's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ljuban Tomčić. Vukašin Lepar hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Radomir Vemić came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Bački Topola FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomir Vemić couldn't finish the play. 99 minutes into the game, Đuro Lazarević cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Naum Radisavčević was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bački Topola FK played a much better game than Zbogom gospodo 2 and deserved their victory. The Zbogom gospodo 2 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
