Vedran Zajić was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 14 minutes, Ivan Lakičević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Old bridge SM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Lakičević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gradimir Džodić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stevan Lišanin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Slobodan Vesović in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Old bridge SM's Ivica Marjanović. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Lakičević in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vedran Zajić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65thth minute of the game Ivan Lakičević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novi Bečej's Vedran Zajić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Lakičević's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Vedran Zajić skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Ivan Lakičević sped through Novi Bečej's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vedran Zajić. Vedran Zajić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Lakičević, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ivica Marjanović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Lakičević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Novi Bečej's Vedran Zajić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Lakičević in the 78th minute of play. Ivan Lakičevićs short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Vedran Zajić to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Simo Đurić kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Dobrica Kajević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gradimir Džodić. Old bridge SM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dobrica Kajević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Old bridge SM's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
