After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Čubrilo Vemić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mali Zvornik OFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Čubrilo Vemić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vlade Čolović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Zemun FK's zone, Dobrilo Nurković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlade Čolović came out of the goal and Dobrilo Nurković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Čubrilo Vemić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mali Zvornik OFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Čubrilo Vemić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vlade Čolović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Mali Zvornik OFK's Dobrilo Nurković slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vlade Čolović. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Čubrilo Vemić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vlade Čolović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Dobrilo Nurković rounded Zemun FK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Mali Zvornik OFK's Čubrilo Vemić got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dragoljub Mekić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Vlade Čolović made a huge save. With his leg Vlade Čolović managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Mali Zvornik OFK's Čubrilo Vemić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Dobrilo Nurković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vlade Čolović was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Vlade Čolović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobrilo Nurković in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Dobrilo Nurković fired away a shot on goal. Vlade Čolović yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Đorđe Urošev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petar Šljivić kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Dobrilo Nurković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mali Zvornik OFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dobrilo Nurković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 99 minutes, Stanimir Nasković mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zemun FK and the Mali Zvornik OFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zemun FK getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Stanimir Nasković hit a great ball. Mali Zvornik OFK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
