The FK Dolja fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when FK Dolja's Alimpije Rujnajić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 22 played minutes FK Dolja got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Perković. 24 minutes into the match, FK Dolja's goal looked a bit too open when Ranko Barišić came free, but Gligorije Tomović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Dorćol defense, Alimpije Rujnajić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dragan Srnić. The Dorćol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dragan Srnić should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Ranko Barišić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gligorije Tomović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alimpije Rujnajić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dragan Srnić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FK Dolja:s Gligorije Tomović showed great skill when he stopped Jovica Biševac:s penalty. Gligorije Tomović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gradimir Čelić in the 96th minute of play. Ranko Barišić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gligorije Tomović having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
