Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ranko Barišić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Voja Drobnjak having to interfere. Gradimir Čelić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Voja Drobnjak having to interfere. In the 12th minute Ranko Barišić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Voja Drobnjak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, F.C.Novi Bečej's goal looked a bit too open when Ranko Barišić came free, but Voja Drobnjak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Voja Drobnjak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ranko Barišić in the 34th minute of play. When Šako Radetić fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.Novi Bečej's protests and gave Šako Radetić a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, one of F.C.Novi Bečej:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C.Novi Bečej. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Dorćol's Jovica Biševac got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Voja Drobnjak. Vladimir Grbić kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Voja Drobnjak was a little too slow when Gradimir Čelić got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ranko Barišić made the kick off in the second half. Dorćol's Gradimir Čelić got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dorćol's Ranko Barišić in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C.Novi Bečej's goalie prevented a goal. F.C.Novi Bečej's Voja Drobnjak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gradimir Čelić in the 63rd minute of play. Vladimir Grbić's late challenge caught a F.C.Novi Bečej's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimir Grbić helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Vladimir Grbić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Gradimir Čelić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Voja Drobnjak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dorćol booed when F.C.Novi Bečej was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Srbislav Dačić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ranko Barišić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Voja Drobnjak having to interfere. Dorćol's Ranko Barišić got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Dorćol players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
