The tension between the Djmilan Mirijevo and the Šabac FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes, Šabac FK's Branko Antić shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Janča Stupar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Šabac FK reached it. If Teodosije Jurišić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vojislav Vukojević kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Janča Stupar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radovan Uzelac in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Sreten Ninković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janča Stupar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Srbislav Medić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivica Mijović came out and tried to block the shot, but Srbislav Medić slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Nikola Šimanić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Srbislav Medić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ivica Mijović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Srbislav Medić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Grgur Veljić came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Djmilan Mirijevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grgur Veljić couldn't finish the play. Grgur Veljić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivica Mijović having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Grgur Veljić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djmilan Mirijevo's supporters rose to their feet, but Grgur Veljić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivica Mijović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Srbislav Medić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Srbislav Medić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ivica Mijović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Šabac FK's goalkeeper Ivica Mijović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 44 minutes, Nikola Šimanić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djmilan Mirijevo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikola Šimanić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivica Mijović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grgur Veljić in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Šabac FK's zone, Vidosav Stavrić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivica Mijović came out of the goal and Vidosav Stavrić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sreten Ninković to strike the kick off in the second half. Nemanja Novičić hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The Šabac FK fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Šabac FK's Sreten Ninković looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Živomir Matanović was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. Grgur Veljić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radovan Uzelac hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Djmilan Mirijevo's Vidosav Stavrić got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cvetin Lazarević kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Vedran Trivunović shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivica Mijović showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vojislav Vukojević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Janča Stupar made a huge save. When Srbislav Medić fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Djmilan Mirijevo's protests and gave Srbislav Medić a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Srbislav Medić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Janča Stupar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Agatonović in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Šabac FK's goal looked a bit too open when Srbislav Medić came free, but Ivica Mijović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Djmilan Mirijevo's Vidosav Stavrić in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Šabac FK's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Djmilan Mirijevo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Svetoje Lopičić hit a great ball. Danilo Agatonović hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ivica Mijović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Srbislav Medić in the 81st minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Djmilan Mirijevo's Srbislav Medić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivica Mijović made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 84th match minute, Djmilan Mirijevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikola Šimanić to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Šabac FK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vojislav Vukojević hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radovan Uzelac couldn't finish the play. If Vidosav Stavrić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Djmilan Mirijevo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
