If Srba Belošević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milan Lezajić hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Borac Starčevo's zone, Sreten Ninković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomislav Čvorkov came out of the goal and Sreten Ninković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 minutes of play, Borac Starčevo's Milan Lezajić made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivica Mijović was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Milan Lezajić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivica Mijović. Šabac FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milan Lezajić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Milan Lezajić sped through Šabac FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivica Mijović. Srba Belošević struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ivica Mijović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borac Starčevo. In the 26th minute, Srba Belošević made a precise shot to the right of Ivica Mijović. Šabac FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miodrag Kahriman during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38thth minute of the game Srba Belošević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Šabac FK's Ivica Mijović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Šabac FK's Radovan Uzelac seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Radovan Uzelac the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Šabac FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Radovan Uzelac had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 40th minute, one of Šabac FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Šabac FK. Milan Lezajić placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danilo Agatonović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Dragojlo Veselinov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borac Starčevo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Šabac FK the free kick. In the 52nd minute, one of Borac Starčevo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borac Starčevo. A hard shot 57 in the game by Milan Lezajić from a close distance when the talented Ivica Mijović managed to make a qualified save. Šabac FK's players were relieved. Šabac FK's Ivica Mijović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Srba Belošević in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Sreten Ninković mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Šabac FK and the Borac Starčevo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Šabac FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sreten Ninković to maneuver through the defense. Ivica Mijović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Srba Belošević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Šabac FK got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Agatonović. When Srba Belošević got free in front of the goal in the 67th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ivica Mijović was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ivica Mijović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Srba Belošević in the 69th minute of the match. Milan Lezajić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borac Starčevo's Radivoje Zečević got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Radivoje Zečević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivica Mijović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivica Mijović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radivoje Zečević, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Borac Starčevo's Radivoje Zečević in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Šabac FK's goalie prevented a goal. Ðuza Miročević kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Radivoje Zečević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
