Gunaroš's Ninoslav Milosević proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Gunaroš from getting a goal against them. Ninoslav Milosević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vojin Milačić in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gunaroš's Rajko Jezdimirović got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vojimir Mirkov in the 93rd minute of play forced Leskovac's goalkeeper Ljubo Pavićević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veljko Obradović got free with Ljubo Pavićević in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Veljko Obradović succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 97th playminute.
