Milorad Šćekić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Momčilo Vesović in the 8th minute of the match. Milorad Šćekić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jadranko Crnčević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th match minute, Neuzina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Srbobran Dević to maneuver through the defense. Stevan Mijin made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jugoslav Jablan sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 17 in the game by Avram Baša from a close distance when the talented Stevan Mijin managed to make a qualified save. Neuzina's players were relieved. Radoš Vrbica hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gradimir Brđanin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stevan Mijin. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gradimir Brđanin during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gradimir Brđanin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 34 minutes of play, Neuzina's Momčilo Vesović made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milorad Šćekić was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dobrosav Dimić charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dobrosav Dimić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Turija's Dobrosav Dimić got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jadranko Crnčević in the 46th minute of play forced Turija's goalkeeper Milorad Šćekić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gradimir Brđanin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stevan Mijin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jugoslav Jablan in the 52nd minute of play. Milorad Šćekić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Srbobran Dević's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Stevan Mijin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jugoslav Jablan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Radoš Vrbica fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neuzina's protests and gave Radoš Vrbica a yellow card for diving instead. Momčilo Vesović's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Milorad Šćekić firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Turija's Milorad Šćekić got control of the ball when Momčilo Vesović tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Neuzina's goal looked a bit too open when Gradimir Brđanin came free, but Stevan Mijin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turija's Milorad Šćekić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Turija from getting a goal against them. Đorđe Ivelja hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Jugoslav Jablan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stevan Mijin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stevan Mijin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jugoslav Jablan in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Avram Baša shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stevan Mijin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neuzina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
