Matija Ćirović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Matija Ljubenović made a huge save. In the 7th minute Vuko Sinđelić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matija Ljubenović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Preševo's protests and gave Mirko Aksić a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pivnice booed when Preševo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Aksić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes Preševo got a freekick which was hit by Cvetko Vasiljević. After 37 played minutes Preševo got a freekick which was hit by Dušan Brajić. After 39 played minutes Preševo got a freekick which was hit by Budislav Križmanić. 45 minutes into the match, Preševo's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Mihajlović came free, but Matija Ljubenović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match, Matija Ćirović got a very nice opportunity to score, but Matija Ljubenović was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rastislav Lotinac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirko Aksić in the 48th minute of the match.
With a little luck, Pivnice's Rastislav Lotinac got control of the ball when Svetomir Zlatković tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matija Ljubenović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stepan Mihajlović in the 61st minute of play. When Stepan Mihajlović came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Pivnice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stepan Mihajlović couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Svetomir Zlatković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Preševo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svetomir Zlatković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes, Jordan Kirovski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pivnice and the Preševo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pivnice getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jordan Kirovski hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
