In the 18th play minute Radmilo Gostimirović came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ljubiša Vukajlović. 1-0. The supporters of Irig booed when Novi Pazar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Puriša Nogo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Bojan Breković had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rajko Šurbatović. Novi Pazar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bojan Breković was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Radislav Mirković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Irig's Bojan Breković in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Novi Pazar's goalie prevented a goal. Veseljko Kovačević's late challenge caught a Irig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veseljko Kovačević helped the player get up and apologised. Veseljko Kovačević kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rajko Šurbatović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uglješa Bitić, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 47th minute Bojan Breković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajko Šurbatović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After 69 played minutes, Novi Pazar's Veljko Majstorac shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ljubiša Vukajlović came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Novi Pazar reached it. Uglješa Bitić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ljubiša Vukajlović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragan Križmanić, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Rajko Šurbatović made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Uglješa Bitić sent off a good shot on target. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Veljko Majstorac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ljubiša Vukajlović was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Maksim Pelević charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maksim Pelević the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Novi Pazar's Toma Gulan got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute, Bojan Breković got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rajko Šurbatović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bojan Breković in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Novi Pazar could leave the field as winners, despite Irig having more of the ball for most of the match.
