Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marjan Vićentijević got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute Marjan Vićentijević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grujica Čairović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Marjan Vićentijević left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dimitrovgrad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Grujica Čairović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jevrem Gmitrović, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Grujica Čairović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jevrem Gmitrović in the 12th minute of play. Grujica Čairović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marjan Vićentijević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marjan Vićentijević came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Dimitrovgrad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marjan Vićentijević couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dimitrovgrad booed when Velike Livade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blaža Gogić didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jevrem Gmitrović in the 23rd minute of play forced Velike Livade's goalkeeper Grujica Čairović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marjan Vićentijević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grujica Čairović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Vlade Mališić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vukašin Čolić in the 27th minute. Marjan Vićentijević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grujica Čairović having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marjan Vićentijević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grujica Čairović was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the game, one of Dimitrovgrad:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Velike Livade's Blaža Gogić got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vlade Mališić. Vukašin Čolić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Vlade Mališić made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Velike Livade's Vlajko Trajković ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vlade Mališić. Vlade Mališić yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vukašin Čolić made a kick off. Vlade Mališić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaža Gogić in the 52nd minute of play. If Jevrem Gmitrović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes, Svetislav Mudreša mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dimitrovgrad and the Velike Livade players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Vukašin Čolić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jevrem Gmitrović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihajlo Mirkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grujica Čairović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihajlo Mirkov ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Vukašin Čolić notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Dimitrovgrad's Vlade Mališić. Vlade Mališić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, Dimitrovgrad's goal looked a bit too open when Vlajko Trajković came free, but Vlade Mališić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 71 in the game by Jevrem Gmitrović from a close distance when the talented Grujica Čairović managed to make a qualified save. Velike Livade's players were relieved. In the 74th minute, Jevrem Gmitrović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vlade Mališić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vukašin Čolić in the 83rd minute of play.
