The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Novi Pazar's Rajko Šurbatović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Novi Pazar from getting a goal against them. Radmilo Gostimirović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rajko Šurbatović was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Milinko Đenić. When the referee blew the final whistle, Trstenik could leave the field as winners, despite Novi Pazar having more of the ball for most of the match.
