Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rastislav Lotinac was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Jevrem Gmitrović capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jevrem Gmitrović really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dimitrovgrad's Vlade Mališić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vuko Sinđelić in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vuko Sinđelić in the 15th minute of play forced Dimitrovgrad's goalkeeper Vlade Mališić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rastislav Lotinac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marjan Vićentijević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jevrem Gmitrović sped through Pivnice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rastislav Lotinac. A collision led to Dimitrovgrad getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Srđan Strugar hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes, Pivnice's Pavle Bulajić shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vlade Mališić came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pivnice reached it. Matija Ćirović scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlade Mališić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marjan Vićentijević in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rastislav Lotinac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Marjan Vićentijević took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Rastislav Lotinac to make any attempt to save it. Vlade Mališić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vuko Sinđelić in the 38th minute of the match. Jevrem Gmitrović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rastislav Lotinac made a huge save. In the 44th minute Marjan Vićentijević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rastislav Lotinac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rastislav Lotinac made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jevrem Gmitrović sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stepan Mihajlović was the one to do the kick off. Gojko Gošić kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Rastislav Lotinac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jevrem Gmitrović, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pivnice's zone, Jevrem Gmitrović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rastislav Lotinac came out of the goal and Jevrem Gmitrović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Marjan Vićentijević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rastislav Lotinac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marjan Vićentijević in the 64th minute of play forced Pivnice's goalkeeper Rastislav Lotinac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Pivnice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vekoslav Vitošević to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Dimitrovgrad's Jevrem Gmitrović got a free kick in the 77th minute. Vuko Sinđelić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Vlade Mališić made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Matija Ćirović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jevrem Gmitrović in the 82nd minute of play forced Pivnice's goalkeeper Rastislav Lotinac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Jevrem Gmitrović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dimitrovgrad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jevrem Gmitrović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87th play minutes Jevrem Gmitrović shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Rastislav Lotinac and just under the crossbar into goal. Vlade Mališić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matija Ćirović in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Matija Ćirović kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vlade Mališić. That made the score 5-2 in the 92 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Vlade Mališić successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Svetislav Mudreša's late challenge caught a Pivnice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svetislav Mudreša helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Dimitrovgrad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetislav Mudreša to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pivnice players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dimitrovgrad.
