Ruski Krstur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stragari the free kick. Ðorđe Nikolić hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ruski Krstur's goalkeeper Kornelije Milević had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ratibor Dučić. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Sinan Šaranov took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kornelije Milević to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinan Šaranov in the 11th minute of play forced Ruski Krstur's goalkeeper Kornelije Milević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Srpko Savićević mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruski Krstur and the Stragari players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ruski Krstur getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Srpko Savićević hit a great ball. Ratibor Dučić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kornelije Milević read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ruski Krstur's Kornelije Milević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sinan Šaranov in the 21st minute of play. Dragutin Ružić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toplica Cimbaljević in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Stragari's goal looked a bit too open when Filiman Marković came free, but Dragutin Ružić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Kojadin Markićević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toplica Cimbaljević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragutin Ružić having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ruski Krstur! When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Stragari's Kojadin Markićević got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kornelije Milević. Kornelije Milević made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ratibor Dučić sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Ruski Krstur's Kornelije Milević got control of the ball when Ratibor Dučić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kornelije Milević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sinan Šaranov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Ratibor Dučić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ruski Krstur's Živadin Lisulović got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Ðorđe Nikolić was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. In the 57th match minute, Ruski Krstur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ðorđe Nikolić to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ruski Krstur's zone, Sinan Šaranov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kornelije Milević came out of the goal and Sinan Šaranov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Veselin Jaćimović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dragutin Ružić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruski Krstur's Veselin Jaćimović got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Stragari's goalkeeper Dragutin Ružić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toplica Cimbaljević. In the 72nd minute of the match Ruski Krstur got a corner. Stragari's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Veselin Jaćimović ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ruski Krstur's Veselin Jaćimović was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dragutin Ružić in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 76th minute Ratibor Dučić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kornelije Milević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Toplica Cimbaljević got free in front of the goal in the 77th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dragutin Ružić was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dragutin Ružić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veselin Jaćimović in the 79th minute. Toplica Cimbaljević might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dragutin Ružić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toplica Cimbaljević ran back to his position shaking his head. Toplica Cimbaljević in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dragutin Ružić, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ruski Krstur's Kornelije Milević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ratibor Dučić in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Ruski Krstur's goal looked a bit too open when Ratibor Dučić came free, but Kornelije Milević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kornelije Milević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinan Šaranov in the 95th minute of the match. Metodije Rnić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Kornelije Milević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ruski Krstur players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stragari.
