In the 16th minute of the match, Danilo Mićunović tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dragutin Ružić saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute Metodije Rnić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marinko Rukavina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jevta Vlašić was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of Izbište booed when Stragari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jevta Vlašić didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Izbište's Aleksandar Janjušević in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 38 minutes into the game, Miladin Mijac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stragari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izbište the free kick. Miladin Mijac kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Ratibor Dučić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavra Đaković made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Izbište's Željko Jovančov. In the 46th minute, Kojadin Markićević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Darko Starčević made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Izbište's Marinko Rukavina got control of the ball when Ratibor Dučić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kojadin Markićević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kojadin Markićević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Marinko Rukavina made a huge save. If Kojadin Markićević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Izbište's Jezdimir Kuveljić got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Metodije Rnić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dragutin Ružić came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Izbište's Danilo Mićunović. But to his dismay, Danilo Mićunović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 73 played minutes Stragari got a freekick which was hit by Sinan Šaranov. Sima Levnajić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dragutin Ružić. Stragari's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ratibor Dučić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stragari's Ratibor Dučić got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stragari's Dragutin Ružić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darko Starčević in the 85th minute of play. Izbište's Marinko Rukavina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Izbište from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Stragari's zone, Darko Starčević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragutin Ružić came out of the goal and Darko Starčević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Izbište getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jezdimir Kuveljić hit a great ball. Ratibor Dučić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marinko Rukavina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izbište's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
