Dragutin Ružić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Stragari's goalkeeper Dragutin Ružić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Živan Jovin. Rudna Glava's Budislav Jovićević suffered a concussion in the 13th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Metodije Rnić during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 19 minutes in the game Sinan Šaranov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kojadin Markićević. After a rather tough play, Rudna Glava's Veseljko Fatić got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Vojislav Ljubenović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Živan Jovin was the one to do the kick off. Živan Jovin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragutin Ružić having to interfere. Sinan Šaranov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lepoje Tomović came out and tried to block the shot, but Sinan Šaranov slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the game, one of Stragari:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Rudna Glava's Lepoje Tomović got control of the ball when Ratibor Dučić tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Živan Jovin put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dragutin Ružić. Dragutin Ružić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Živan Jovin in the 69th minute of play. Rudna Glava's Živan Jovin got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Novak Krivokapić struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Dragutin Ružić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rudna Glava. The supporters of Rudna Glava booed when Stragari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metodije Rnić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Živan Jovin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dragutin Ružić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Gradimir Matić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dragutin Ružić. Stragari's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Rudna Glava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ljubinko Mihajlović to maneuver through the defense.
