After a defensive mix-up in Pirot's zone, Lazar Ćulafić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slaviša Vranjković came out of the goal and Lazar Ćulafić tried to chip the ball over his head. After a rather tough play, Pirot's Ivo Kisačević got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ljuban Lazarević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirot's Slaviša Vranjković was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Pirot's goalkeeper Slaviša Vranjković had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lazar Ćulafić. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the referee ended the match the Leskovac players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
