The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Božo Joković showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Božo Joković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azmi Enver, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute of the match FC MUNGOSI got a corner. Atlético Beograd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albert Hagelsten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC MUNGOSI's Albert Hagelsten to fire away a dangerous shot which Božo Joković despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Albert Hagelsten hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Božo Joković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azmi Enver in the 12th minute of play. Ignjatije Tutorić's late challenge caught a FC MUNGOSI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignjatije Tutorić helped the player get up and apologised. Remigio Gomez struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Božo Joković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MUNGOSI. Božo Joković came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MUNGOSI's Feliks Juszkowski. But to his dismay, Feliks Juszkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanko Marinović in the 24th minute of play forced FC MUNGOSI's goalkeeper Geovani Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azmi Enver took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Božo Joković. Božo Joković dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Albert Hagelsten hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, Atlético Beograd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Želimir Maleš to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Azmi Enver in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Božo Joković saved Atlético Beograd from getting behind. In the 43rd minute Albert Hagelsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Božo Joković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Paul Mickelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Božo Joković didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Hagelsten went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Azmi Enver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, FC MUNGOSI's Azmi Enver ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Božo Joković. Božo Joković yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Albert Hagelsten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Božo Joković when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Atlético Beograd's Prodan Dujaković got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of FC MUNGOSI booed when Atlético Beograd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bojan Šorgić didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Atlético Beograd's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Gomez came free, but Božo Joković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Atlético Beograd's goalkeeper Božo Joković had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Valström. Božo Joković was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mark McWhirter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 66 minute of play. The FC MUNGOSI fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when FC MUNGOSI's Albert Hagelsten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Feliks Juszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Božo Joković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Gomez in the 76th minute of the match. Božo Joković made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Albert Hagelsten sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as FC MUNGOSI's Albert Hagelsten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Božo Joković. That made the score 0-8 after 78 minutes of play. Azmi Enver might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Božo Joković. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Azmi Enver ran back to his position shaking his head. Mark McWhirter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Božo Joković having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Remigio Gomez took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Božo Joković to make any attempt to save it. FC MUNGOSI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
