Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vlade Cuković started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vlade Cuković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Gnjilan's Zlatomir Dobrašinović got control of the ball when Siniša Nasković tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sibin Janković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlade Cuković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jugoslav Kotur got free with Zlatomir Dobrašinović in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Murat Mićić made a precise shot to the right of Sibin Janković. Apatin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With an all-out effort, Apatin's Zlatomir Dobrašinović threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Murat Jokić, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
