Spectators: 9185 (Terracing: 6890, Seating: 2112, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ilija Dimitrijević started the match with the kick off. The supporters of FC vukovi sa bikare booed when Bačko Gradište was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Živadin Paroški didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Bačko Gradište's Igor Jašić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksandar Nićiforović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bačko Gradište's Igor Jašić got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Petar Gojković shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Milovan Šorgić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aleksandar Nićiforović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoslav Vukićević, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Milovan Šorgić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilija Dimitrijević in the 30th minute of the match. When Živadin Paroški came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Bačko Gradište fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Živadin Paroški couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilija Dimitrijević got free with Milovan Šorgić in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, FC vukovi sa bikare's goal looked a bit too open when Mirko Dujaković came free, but Aleksandar Nićiforović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirko Dujaković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandar Nićiforović having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mirko Dujaković was the one to do the kick off. Igor Jašić hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Milovan Šorgić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vukosav Jačić, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Živadin Paroški got free with Aleksandar Nićiforović in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mirko Dujaković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aleksandar Nićiforović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mirko Dujaković who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Aleksandar Nićiforović when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Bačko Gradište's Igor Jašić got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Vukosav Jačić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC vukovi sa bikare fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mirko Dujaković took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleksandar Nićiforović. Aleksandar Nićiforović dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Aleksandar Nićiforović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mirko Dujaković in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bačko Gradište's Mirko Dujaković slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aleksandar Nićiforović. That made the score 2-3 after 85 minutes of play. In the 88th minute, Želimir Šišić reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aleksandar Nićiforović. The goal made the score 2-4. Živadin Paroški recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mirko Dujaković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandar Nićiforović having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Bačko Gradište left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC vukovi sa bikare.
