Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aćim Ajdarić started the match with the kick off. Aćim Ajdarić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Božo Joković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Beograd's zone, Života Đurašević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Božo Joković came out of the goal and Života Đurašević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético Beograd's Božo Joković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gruja Kuzman in the 9th minute of play. When Aćim Ajdarić came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FK Partizan Beograd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aćim Ajdarić couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Aćim Ajdarić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Božo Joković was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 18th play minutes Aćim Ajdarić shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Božo Joković and just under the crossbar into goal. Božo Joković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gruja Kuzman in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Gruja Kuzman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes Atlético Beograd got a freekick which was hit by Jevta Mijac. Jan Laada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanko Marinović in the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Aćim Ajdarić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Partizan Beograd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aćim Ajdarić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jevtimije Basara scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Božo Joković, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Božo Joković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Partizan Beograd. In the 82nd minute, Gruja Kuzman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Božo Joković was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. When Života Đurašević came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FK Partizan Beograd fans jumped to their feet.
