Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) OFK BEOGRAD's Cvetomir Vargec started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. OFK BEOGRAD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mladomir Žarković in the 5th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cvetomir Vargec got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rogério Ceni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 7 minutes, Božidar Muslin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Radnicki Sombor and the OFK BEOGRAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Božidar Muslin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cvetomir Vargec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OFK BEOGRAD were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Radnicki Sombor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mladomir Žarković took the corner. Radnicki Sombor's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Trivunović in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Radnicki Sombor's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Trivunović came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timotije Šaranović kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Božidar Muslin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cvetomir Vargec in the 28th minute of play. OFK BEOGRAD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mladomir Žarković in the 29th minute. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cvetomir Vargec, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstantin Trivunović got free with Rogério Ceni in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Božidar Muslin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Trivunović in the 57th minute of play. If Cvetomir Vargec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milivoj Krivošija kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Cvetomir Vargec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cvetomir Vargec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Trivunović in the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstantin Trivunović in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Ceni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Ceni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cvetomir Vargec's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. OFK BEOGRAD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
