Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mladen Gorjanac got the match started through his kick off. Rodoljub Ćuk kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Majdanpek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamenko Radić to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Celsius booed when Majdanpek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Mirić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ðura Kukolj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mladen Gorjanac in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Vučko Perić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celsius's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vučko Perić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ðorđe Đikanović fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Majdanpek's protests and gave Ðorđe Đikanović a yellow card for diving instead. 20 minutes into the game, Mladen Gorjanac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ðura Kukolj. Mladen Gorjanac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Vučko Perić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ðura Kukolj having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mladen Gorjanac in the 29th minute of play forced Majdanpek's goalkeeper Ðura Kukolj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Majdanpek's goalkeeper Ðura Kukolj had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vučko Perić. The supporters of Celsius booed when Majdanpek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamenko Radić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vučko Perić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ðura Kukolj made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Kajević stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Majdanpek booed when Celsius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragan Jovović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ðura Kukolj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vučko Perić in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Majdanpek's Stamenko Radić got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sima Vidosavljević took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ðura Kukolj. Ðura Kukolj dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Mladen Gorjanac took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ðura Kukolj. Majdanpek's Svetozar Belošević got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Majdanpek's goal looked a bit too open when Sima Vidosavljević came free, but Ðura Kukolj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mladen Gorjanac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinko Mandić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Majdanpek getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Stamenko Radić hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vučko Perić in the 95th minute of play forced Majdanpek's goalkeeper Ðura Kukolj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Vučko Perić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ðura Kukolj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Celsius had played much better football throughout.
