Whiteley's Janićije Karanikić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vukan Aćimović in the 45th minute of play. Neđo Janjić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Petar Rajević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 49 played minutes ФК Будућност Подгорица got a freekick which was hit by Milun Matković.

The wind increased when Gradimir Mudrić made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Gradimir Mudrić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petar Rajević. ФК Будућност Подгорица's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gradimir Mudrić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Isko Lukač's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janićije Karanikić was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Whiteley's Neđo Janjić got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neđo Janjić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petar Rajević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neđo Janjić in the 90th minute of the match. Gligorije Paljević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Petar Rajević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
