Ivo Medić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piro Plamenac, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Dario Kecojević fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coleford FC's protests and gave Dario Kecojević a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Dario Kecojević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Coleford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Piro Plamenac came free, but Ivo Medić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Joko Šarac notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Netherton City's Staniša Drakulić. Staniša Drakulić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joko Šarac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51st play minutes Piro Plamenac shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Ivo Medić and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 54th minute, Čedomir Đokvučić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Sead Babović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piro Plamenac struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ivo Medić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherton City. When Denis Rašović came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Netherton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Rašović couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piro Plamenac in the 78th minute of play forced Coleford FC's goalkeeper Ivo Medić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Piro Plamenac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivo Medić was relentless in the 79th minute of the game.
