After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Elvis Milović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chadderton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvis Milović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragi Perišić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th match minute, Skegby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trajko Mališić to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rajo Mićunović sped through Chadderton United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Višeslav Stojčić. Skegby FC's Dragi Perišić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Milović in the 25th minute of play. If Rodoljub Đorđić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Skegby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joviša Vidojević to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Davor Ćirović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chadderton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davor Ćirović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elvis Milović struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Dragi Perišić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chadderton United. In the 91st play minute Rajo Mićunović came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Višeslav Stojčić. 1-2. In the 96th minute, Rajo Mićunović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Skegby FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Skegby FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
