Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radivoj Šekularac to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulverston's Veselin Kostić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zrno Krmpotić. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radivoj Šekularac in the 58th minute of play forced Ulverston's goalkeeper Bratoljub Petrić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Prishtina's goalkeeper Zrno Krmpotić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zrno Krmpotić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Đorđe Aleksić in the 67th minute. A collision led to Real Prishtina getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Radoslav Mitrašinović hit a great ball. Đorđe Aleksić took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zrno Krmpotić. Šćepan Radišić kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Đorđe Aleksić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. Ulverston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veselin Kostić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zrno Krmpotić came out of the goal and Đorđe Aleksić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
