After having played for 11 minutes, Cane Savović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tynemouth United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cane Savović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Banović in the 18th minute of play forced Tynemouth United's goalkeeper Velisav Bojović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Milenković was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 48th minute, Ivo Milenković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neđo Karadžić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cane Savović in the 49th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krsto Pejčić was the one to do the kick off. Neđo Karadžić didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tynemouth United's Cane Savović shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Krsto Pejčić's late challenge caught a Newmarket United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Newmarket United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neđo Karadžić should have stopped the shot. Miloš Boltić hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cane Savović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Neđo Karadžić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tynemouth United fully deserved thier win.
