Len Bowler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staniša Vidić in the 4th minute of the match. Budislav Blagojević kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Klisić in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Len Bowler saved Alston City from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Stefan Klisić made a precise shot to the right of Len Bowler. Alston City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Stefan Klisić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Len Bowler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Klisić in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Len Bowler saved Alston City from getting behind. Stefan Klisić scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Len Bowler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 played minutes Alston City got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Daly. A collision led to Climbers FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ranko Mijač hit a great ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Stefan Klisić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alston City's Len Bowler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Len Bowler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Klisić's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Alston City's Len Bowler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Klisić in the 40th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Will Stead made a kick off. The supporters of Climbers FC booed when Alston City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Parry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Hutchins hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes, Stefan Klisić made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Alston City's Len Bowler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Golub Jolović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Daniel Parry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Alston City defense, Staniša Vidić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Len Bowler. The Alston City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Len Bowler should have stopped the shot. Golub Jolović who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Len Bowler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Len Bowler stood somewhat misplaced when Stefan Klisić came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Stefan Klisić scored 0-11 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Len Bowler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Climbers FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alston City throughout the match.
