Šaban Sedlarević came out of the goal and Goran Mlađenović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Penrith F's Vukajlo Džomić got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Penrith F's zone, Niša Vojinović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tihomir Dedić came out of the goal and Niša Vojinović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Niša Vojinović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Petts Wood's Želimir Kiković got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sava Dragićević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petts Wood's Niša Vojinović got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caki Prijović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tihomir Dedić made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Caki Prijović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Penrith F getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Vukajlo Džomić hit a great ball. Tihomir Dedić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niša Vojinović in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Vukajlo Džomić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goran Mlađenović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Šaban Sedlarević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Caki Prijović could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Tihomir Dedić however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Penrith F's Vukajlo Džomić got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Niša Vojinović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niša Vojinović to make the kick off. With a little luck, Petts Wood's Šaban Sedlarević got control of the ball when Stojadin Marotić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Šaban Sedlarević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sava Dragićević, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Grujo Šaranović hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Penrith F getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Sava Dragićević hit a great ball. Grujo Šaranović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Tihomir Dedić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niša Vojinović in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tihomir Dedić saved Penrith F from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sava Dragićević in the 74th minute of play forced Petts Wood's goalkeeper Šaban Sedlarević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, one of Petts Wood:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Miloš Lalević kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Petts Wood were furious when Đulijano Brnović was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 83rd minute, one of Petts Wood:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Petts Wood. Šaban Sedlarević went to the wrong direction when Sava Dragićević was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 89th minute, Caki Prijović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Penrith F's Sava Dragićević in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Petts Wood's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute Sava Dragićević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šaban Sedlarević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petts Wood's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
