In the 6th minute Zijah Mirazić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uroš Vulić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ashton Under booed when Cullompton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fado Mistović didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes Cullompton FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Tonić. Ashton Under's Tomo Drašković got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ashton Under booed when Cullompton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Branislav Jeknić didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Gajo Radak managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Cullompton FC's Sabahudin Ašćerić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 20 minutes, Danko Marinović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ashton Under and the Cullompton FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Danko Marinović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uroš Vulić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomo Drašković in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Ashton Under. Tomo Drašković stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Uroš Vulić. 0-1. Tomo Drašković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uroš Vulić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milinko Krstičić in the 28th minute of play. The Cullompton FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Cullompton FC's Sabahudin Ašćerić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sabahudin Ašćerić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gajo Radak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ashton Under's Gajo Radak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ashton Under from getting a goal against them. With his leg Gajo Radak managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Cullompton FC's Sabahudin Ašćerić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gajo Radak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabahudin Ašćerić in the 40th minute of the match. Milinko Krstičić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Roman Bećirović made a precise shot to the right of Uroš Vulić. Cullompton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Bećirović to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tomo Drašković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Šerbo Saletić in the 63rd minute of play forced Ashton Under's goalkeeper Gajo Radak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ashton Under getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Miladin Topić hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Ashton Under got a freekick which was hit by Danko Marinović. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Bećirović in the 72nd minute of play forced Cullompton FC's goalkeeper Uroš Vulić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cullompton FC's Mirza Parezanović suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Milinko Krstičić's late challenge caught a Cullompton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milinko Krstičić helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ashton Under getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Milinko Krstičić hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Milinko Krstičić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ashton Under's supporters rose to their feet, but Milinko Krstičić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uroš Vulić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Milinko Krstičić reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uroš Vulić. The goal made the score 1-3.
