The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Krsman Tomanić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermin Đinđić having to interfere. In the 8th minute Komnen Ljuca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasmin Raković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maksim Stanić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jasmin Raković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Bay of Kotor's Krsman Tomanić dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Nenad Pejić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bay of Kotor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nenad Pejić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Komnen Ljuca hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krsman Tomanić was the one to do the kick off. When Komnen Ljuca came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ride the Wind fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Komnen Ljuca couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ride the Wind booed when Bay of Kotor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarija Bakić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maksim Stanić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ride the Wind's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krsman Tomanić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Ride the Wind's Ermin Đinđić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krsman Tomanić in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute Radivoj Vasković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermin Đinđić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermin Đinđić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krsman Tomanić, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The Bay of Kotor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. A collision led to Bay of Kotor getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Krsman Tomanić hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Bay of Kotor defense, Ćićo Stević kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasmin Raković. The Bay of Kotor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasmin Raković should have stopped the shot.
