Pellyn Brazier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, UWA Barmouth's Cai Breedlove got a free kick in the 24th minute. Berwyn Fergus made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Pryderi Kirk sent off a good shot on target. Cynbal Fairbanks's late challenge caught a UWA Barmouth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cynbal Fairbanks helped the player get up and apologised. Kevyn Hooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Berwyn Fergus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, UWA Barmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Kevyn Hooper came free, but Berwyn Fergus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UWA Barmouth walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
