Treorchy's Nynnyaw Barkhouse got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ieuan Jamison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nynnyaw Barkhouse in the 81st minute of play. Nynnyaw Barkhouse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 96 played minutes, Porthcawl Utd's Gwitart Goodwin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daned Lydiican came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porthcawl Utd reached it. The Porthcawl Utd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Treorchy's performance. The match ended with a win for Treorchy.
