Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Kilydd Tasker in the 9th minute of play forced Treorchy's goalkeeper Daned Lydiican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Abergele booed when Treorchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinadan Dunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pwyll Almoner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daned Lydiican. Treorchy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match Abergele got a corner. Treorchy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pwyll Almoner ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Drew Kendrick heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Abergele getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Maxen Keene hit a great ball. Nynnyaw Barkhouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peissawg Wright having to interfere. Goronwy Dempsey hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Kilydd Tasker struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Daned Lydiican didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abergele. Nynnyaw Barkhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Peissawg Wright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Treorchy defense, Cadyryeith Dungan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daned Lydiican. The Treorchy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daned Lydiican should have stopped the shot. Yale Handleys short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Peissawg Wright to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yale Handley succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 40th playminute. Peissawg Wright didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yale Handley went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 48 played minutes Abergele got a freekick which was hit by Amynedd Flanders.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nynnyaw Barkhouse made a kick off. When Cadyryeith Dungan came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Abergele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cadyryeith Dungan couldn't finish the play. Govan Blakey charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Govan Blakey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Govan Blakey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yale Handley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peissawg Wright having to interfere. In the 65th minute Nynnyaw Barkhouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peissawg Wright saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peissawg Wright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yale Handley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Nynnyaw Barkhouse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Peissawg Wright was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yale Handley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Peissawg Wright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daned Lydiican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilydd Tasker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Abergele:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Treorchy:s goal. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Treorchy. Arawn Leech stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Peissawg Wright. 4-1. Yale Handley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peissawg Wright having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Abergele's Drew Kendrick got a free kick in the 97th minute. When Treorchy's Nynnyaw Barkhouse, in the 99th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Treorchy.
