Rhun Kavanagh made a great header on Newport FC's corner, it was just that Bridgend FC's Gwres Fergus managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 95th minute, Avaon Hamran made a precise shot to the right of Gwres Fergus. Bridgend FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bridgend FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
