The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nynnyaw Barkhouse to strike the kick off in the second half. Daned Lydiican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyn Culpepper in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Govan Blakey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Treorchy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bridgend FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Treorchy's Govan Blakey got a free kick in the 90th minute.
