Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cairn Blyth started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Chepstow 's goal looked a bit too open when Gowerr Fane came free, but Kynan Conyers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greidyawl Keatinge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kilydd Camden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cairn Blyth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Greidyawl Keatinge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chepstow 's supporters rose to their feet, but Greidyawl Keatinge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kilydd Camden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kynan Conyers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cairn Blyth in the 30th minute of play. Chepstow 's Kynan Conyers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cairn Blyth in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chepstow defense, Cairn Blyth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kynan Conyers. The Chepstow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kynan Conyers should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Collen Clifton to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Chepstow getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Clyde Brock hit a great ball. Gwyr Lax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kynan Conyers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwyr Lax in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Collen Clifton in the 65th minute of play forced Prestatyn's goalkeeper Kilydd Camden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Collen Clifton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Chepstow 's Kynan Conyers got control of the ball when Gwyr Lax tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chepstow fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Kynan Conyers, was totally fooled by Prestatyn's Brian Keene, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kynan Conyers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cairn Blyth, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Kilydd Camden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greidyawl Keatinge in the 83rd minute of play. When Prestatyn's Cairn Blyth in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chepstow 's goalie prevented a goal. Kynan Conyers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cairn Blyth, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Cairn Blyth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Cairn Blyth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prestatyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cairn Blyth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Prestatyn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Prestatyn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
